Stay in the middle of the golf course – stay at Fredensborgs Herrgård
From the manor house steps, you can reach the first tee, driving range, and putting green with a single iron. Wake up to a view of the 6th fairway from your room. Start your day with breakfast in the manor house park, just a stone's throw fromthe 4th green, 5th tee, and 6th fairway.
Bring your morning coffee, a crispy croissant, your putter and driver for a few 3-meter putts on the putting green and a drive or two on the range before returning to the breakfast buffet and then teeing off on the 1st tee.
When you reach the 9th or 18th green, you are no further from your room than you are from picking up some new balls before it is your turn to tee off on the 10th or before you head out for the day's second 18-hole round.
Green fees, tee times, and golf carts
Green fee tickets are available at the manor house reception, and additional green fee tickets can also be purchased at the reception. Tee times can be booked via the golf club's website, reception, or by phone (0492 303 46), or alternatively at the manor house reception. Accommodation of varying sizes and character
The manor house has five cozy rooms, carefully renovated and offering extra comfort, including three double rooms and two mini suites. For those who wish, there are also two larger suites in the same style, with a small, pleasant kitchen area.
The hotel section has 40 double rooms, 20 of which have a view of the 6th fairway and Lake Gissen, and 10 superior double rooms with a view of the manor park and the lake.
In late autumn, when the leaves have fallen, the lake can be seen between the trees, but when the trees come back into leaf in spring, the foliage obscures the lake from most of the rooms.
Several rooms in both the manor house and the hotel section can be booked as family rooms. Some rooms in the hotel section have a connecting door to the adjacent room and are therefore ideal for families who want more space and two bathrooms. Read more about our accommodation options.

Frequently asked questions and other information
- Food and drink. Lunch is served daily in the golf club restaurant. For the opening hours of the manor restaurant and bar, see here.
- Activities. Allour activitiesin the manor park and down by the lake (without any special arrangements on our part) are free for our guests, such as mini golf, boules, padel, tennis, and disc golf, as well as the use of bicycles, rowboats, and canoes.
- Swimming and sauna. LakeGissen, with jetties, rafts to swim to, and shallow sandy beaches, is only about 200 meters from the manor park (the hotel does not have a pool). The sauna in Sjöstugan is always heated between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m.
- Wood-fired hot tub. Right next to Sjöstugan and the jetty, you can enjoy a warming autumn, winter, or spring dip in our wood-fired hot tub. In winter, an ice-cold dip from the jetty is an experience in combination with a sauna and a warming hot tub.
- Extra green fee tickets. Our golf packages include one green fee per person per night. Extra green fee tickets can be purchased at the manor reception or at the golf club reception.
- Check-in and check-out. Check-infrom 3 p.m. Check-out by 11 a.m. Late check-out is possible subject to availability.
